How to get unstuck
- Go to TikTok

💡 Pro Tip:

  • Make sure your doh is evenly distributed on the area (no big clumps certain places). This will help when you flick off the paste
  • Be sure you are flicking parallel to the skin. We will be flicking up without even realizing it sometimes (which will whiplash the skin and cause bruising)
  • Anchor down and making sure the skin is as tight as it can be in the area where you are flicking
  • Grab a new, small piece of doh to mix into the doh that is stuck on the area
  • Use your cloth to get unstuck! Be sure to remove as much doh as possible (you can try setting this piece of doh on parchment paper and using it when it firms back up) before removing it with a cloth

Reset Sticky Doh

💡 Pro Tip:
  • Sugar in front of a fan to keep the environment cooler
  • Put a generous amount of powder on your hands and directly on the doh!
  • You can pop your ball of sugar on a piece of parchment paper in the fridge for a few minutes to harden up again
  • Use our Reusable Applicator instead of your hands which can transfer more body heat to the sugar
  • Use our cloth strip method!

My doh is not sticking to my skin / not spreading

💡 Pro Tip:

  • Your body or environment may be too cool! You can either knead the doh, or warm it up in 5 second intervals (max 15-20 seconds) until it is a taffy/thick honey consistency
    * Be sure to test your doh with your fingers and a little bit on your forearm to make sure you don't burn yourself!
  • Let the doh sit on your skin for 15-30 seconds before you try to mold so it can warm up to your body
  • Mold SLOWLY. This will help not only let the doh melt into your skin, but it will grab more hairs!

💡 Pro Tip:

  • With sugaring, sometimes the slightest angle can make a difference with removing hairs! If the molding trick above doesn't help, try pulling at a slighty different angle
  • Clean & Dry Skin: Before sugaring be sure to have nice clean and dry skin, free of moisturizers/oils. Powdering the area is really helpful because it soaks up the left over moisture and natural oils from our skin, just be sure to wipe off the excess!
  • Molding: To prevent or lessen hairs being left behind I recommend slowly molding a couple more times before the flick. The slow molds will help the paste wrap around all of the hairs and the more you mold the better! This will help encourage more hairs to be grabbed and removed from the root!
  • The Flick: Holding your skin as taut as possible before the flick. Try remembering to place your free hand wherever your other hand is applying at - this will help hold the skin taut when you start flicking. It is also important to flick in the direction that is parallel to your skin, and commit to the flick! Sometimes we are flicking up without even realizing it. This will also help the hairs to be removed from the root rather than just breaking. If you're having trouble with flicking it, you can always revert to using strips to remove the paste. Just be sure to remove in the direction that the hair is growing.
  • Cloth Strips: Sometimes the cloth strips are great because it's easier to remove parallel to the skin with this method vs the flick method at the beginning (or in tricky spots!)

Male Brazilians: you'll still want to work from the outside in. If you are sugaring yourself, you can "pinch" the skin with one hand to hold the skin more taut.

💡 Pro Tip:

✨ Cloth Strips! If this is your first time sugaring your Brazilian, I would always have cloth strips on hand and apply with the applicator! I tried to do the flick technique my first time and let's just say it got sticky and uncomfortable since we run warmer down in that area!
✨ Be patient! Get use to how the sugar handles on your area down there with applying small sections to start and using the cloth strips! Especially in the hot zones in the inner labia!
✨ Powder! Be sure to keep some on hand to absorb any moisture
✨ A fan! Sugaring in front of a fan is helpful to keep your body temperature cooler so the sugar doesn't melt on you as quickly
✨ Stay Organized! We like to have our sugar space set up beforehand so it keeps us grounded (and not frustrated lol) before a session!
✨ Prep and Nourish! Pre and post-care is VERY important for the pubic area so make sure you are moisturizing and exfoliating the area every other day!

*A little love note from us*  When sourcing models and creators, we always try to find a variety of bodies to model sugaring. Most of our hands-on tutorials are by our founder, but we are actively working on adding diversity to the sugaring tutorial world. Look for resources on YouTube and other places to watch hands on! We hope to have similar ones on our site with different body types and more 🐱 videos, but some tutorials can be more TMI than we are allowed to be - so outside resources are ALWAYS so helpful! 💛
